Original Art Collection
I have been painting impressionistic, intuitive and abstract art for many years. I am mainly self taught but I have taken lots of very informative art classes both in person and online. I use acrylic paints, inks and many forms of mixed media. I am sure to dispose of any waste in an eco-friendly manner.
Our beautiful earth and nature are my passion, so much of my art is centred around the landscape around me. I love flowers, trees, seascapes and dramatic sunsets. My paintings are all various sizes so be sure to check out their measurements.
Boxed and stretched canvases are my preferred painting surfaces. I also enjoy painting on wood panels and have experimented, successfully, in making these myself. I can’t help feeling excited beginning each and every new painting. Creating something that wasn’t there before gives me great enjoyment and satisfaction. When using acrylic inks in my cosmic paintings, I allow the paint to blend and evolve on its own for a while then work with what I see, blending the colours together to form areas of interest.
