Are you like me and see a wonderful view or an item of beauty and just want to get your paints and canvases out? That’s me all the time. There are so many wonderful things all around us. The beauty of the world astounds me on a daily basis.

But would I, could I portray these beautiful wonders to the standard that they deserve I ask myself? I have so much self doubt…..until, I put the first dab of paint on the canvas and then my heart takes over and I paint until my feelings are poured out of me, onto that canvas.

I have learned not to care if the outcome isn’t to everyone’s taste. There is always someone who feels like I do….. so my advice to all you self-doubters, just paint your heart out.
