I’m a self taught artist creating intuitive, impressionistic paintings inspired by the beauty and energy of our world. Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and painting is how I express my deep connection to the planet, its landscapes, seascapes and the vast cosmos above us.
My work is driven by the belief that a single energy connects all things. Each painting is an exploration of the energy capturing movement, emotion and atmosphere rather than exact representation. I aim to create pieces that feel alive and invite the viewer to pause, reflect, and connect on a deeper level.
I work with a range of mixed media, including acrylic paints and acrylic inks, to build rich layers, depth and texture. When I begin a new piece I allow the inks to flow freely and evolve organically, responding intuitively to what emerges. This process keeps each painting spontaneous, unique, and full of discovery. The many courses I have taken over the years continue to inform and strengthen my practice, while intuition remains at the heart of my work.
Each painting is carefully finished with an acrylic varnish, creating a subtle, luxurious sheen that enhances the colours and protects the artwork for years to come.
